Mustang

This is the Mustang I drew with pencil, graphite sticks and a felt tipped pen on index cards. As demonstrated above, it's not even glued together yet. But I was inspired to do something of this sort and I think it turned out really well. And though you can't tell in this picture, there are a few mistakes that I would fix if I was to do it again.

Zinnia

Ok, so it's not a drawing. But I love zinnias and had fun taking photos of it. :)

Rainy Day

Drawings for preparation for my school assignment. I'm supposed to create a cartoon character and this one will be a glamorous celebrity type. I like the classiness of the old silver screen actresses, so that's what the cartoon will be based on. Sorry for the blurriness.
Marker and Pen.

Had to turn the camera upside down for this one. the reflection of the neighbor's house on a rain-splattered car.
I was trying to get a snapshot of the rain actually dropping. I failed, but this still looks pretty good.
These are the crying sunflowers. If you want to call them that. Actually they're happy because we've been experiencing some drought in my neck of the woods.
The raindrops on the sunflower.

I hope you like these pictures. And actually God gave us rain cause I asked him for it.

Tuesday, the 7th.

Laufenburg, Switzerland. Here are two drawings and two scenes from the same location. Found both on the internet and each took me about two hours to complete. It helps that I was able to hold the page up to the computer screen and trace the drawing to start it out.

Saturday the 21st

Here is what I was drawing today.

Here it is next to the photo.

Here is what I drew today next to what I drew on April 22nd of the same photograph.

To quote Napoleon Dynamite, "it took me three hours to shade the upper lip." Actually, it took me between 4 and 5 hours (on and off) to draw the entire thing because I was doing a lot of work on detail. Anyway, I don't believe I've ever put so much work into any other drawing, so please enjoy. :)

Friday, the 13th of May

The idea of this blog is to let other people see my artwork. I was thinking of doing a daily blog, but I'm not sure it that will work or not. The featured drawing today is done with a purple colored pencil and some purple pen. The strokes are meant to be rather scribbly but work together to make a detailed and well done drawing. Looking at the date on the drawing, I did it in July of 2010.

I hope you enjoy my artwork. I do it for fun and for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
